Sometimes I just lay here and think to myself.. If there's anything my daughter will be proud of in me when she gets older.. And as far as now, there's nothing.. Gonna go get my GED however I can and get my butt into getting a degree in something I can have a future in.. I wanna show her that momma messed up in dropping out of school and not getting her diploma cause she worked so hard but she still did something out of herself!

@septson, I agree support is all we need here! I've seen many mommies support eachother and I'm one supportive one myself :) we can do it!! And we will! If we didn't have anything to help us push further now we do! No matter what we will be someone our kids are proud of! But let's also set an example that although they came we never gave up!!

Ladies I totally agree and understand... I always struggled with math , I feel confident in every subject except math it's like another language 😤. I need to go back to get my GED and this post really made me wanna go do it! So thanks, just a thought maybe we can support each other... I'm a single mommy to be now ... And it's hard to feel good about anything...
I went to a GED school and we paid 19 dollars for every test we took and one free retake for each one u fail ... not sure how other places do it

no I suck too... I took mine in sections instead of all at once I passed all in the first try except math I took that twice

same here I got my GED while pregnant with my first and now that 2 of my babies are in school all day I'm enrolling in community collage full time and putting the baby in the on site day care they have
is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know

I love how I repeatedly told my father in law not to let my daughter root through the toy box because she doesn’t want anything out of it anyway and he keeps picking her up and taking her to the toy box no matter how many times I tell her no and tell him she doesn’t even want anything out of there anyway. My cousin stayed with me rent free from September 2015 to April 2016 and her stuff is still in my apartment. She's been saying she was going to come get her stuff for months.
