How old was your little one when you started them on rice cereal? My son is almost 3 months but he's already 15 pounds. He was 7lb 10oz at birth. I have switched to using only formula cause the breast milk never made him full. He eats 6-8oz of formula every 2-3 hours and still doesn't seem satisfied. I'm gonna ask his dr on Tuesday if I can start him on the cereal in a bottle. Do you ladies think it's the right time?

I asked my Dr at 2 months because no matter much she would eat she never seemed satisfied and he said it was fine with how she was growing and everything so we tried to wait as long as we could but gave in about 2 1/2 months and started with a little bit of rice in bottle

my baby Dr told me to at 2 months, he is 6 months now & is 19.2 in weight he weighed 7.15 at birth. mom's know best for their child

@calliesmom, @mommaofemit2014 thank you guys. I really feel that starting rice cereal in a bottle would be a good thing for him. Mommas do know best!
