Same thing happened to me yesterday at my shower .. Planned this big shower had all this food nice invitations got my hair done make up done decorations rented out this expensive ass place just for nothing .. Only my daughters dad & her grandmother came .. My dad step mom my son my brother my two aunts & my uncle & my aunt friend came .. I was soooooooo upset I didn't cry until o had to drive home by myself with all the food & shit .
Not to different from my baby shower story either. My true friends did show tho and the ones who didn't for unacceptable reasons I decided were not my friends. But it's over now and time to think about what's really important and the fact that you will have your baby soon and he will be the best friend you could ever ask for and more will make up for the crappy shower turn out. Omg love I'm so sorry to hear that!! Maybe do an online shower and see if anyone buys/donates? I was thinking of doing that instead of an actual shower.

I spent a bunch on my shower I sent out dozens of invites but only like 4 of my friends showed up. a lot of people RSVP but they didn't even come
