So I go back to work in three weeks. I don't want to pump at work because my daily schedule is always different. The hours are the same but I'm not always in the office. Today I'm starting to supplement w formula. I nursed this morning, formula during the day, and will nurse at night. I'm hoping that eventually I can be at a comfortable level during the day by not nursing or pumping. Has anyone ever done this and maintained a good milk supply?
Interesting. Well, I'll give it a go and see what happens. Can't say I didn't try. Thanks for your input @junebaby :)
just going that 8 hours really decreases supply
I breast fed before work and when I was home. Also pumped every chance I could but it wasn't enough. This happened with all three of my kids that I nursed.
@junebaby really? Did you pump or bf in the morning or night when you went back?
my milk dried up when I was unable to pump at work.
Random question! At what time during the day did everyone waters break? I always imagine it being at night in bed 😂😂
is it true that WIC doesn't give a breast pump or formula for the first 30 days?
Breast pumping ... milk finally came in so I plan on formula feeding during the day and giving him breast milk at night that way I can pump during the day
What's something you're working on right now to become a better person? I'm working on being more positive 😘🙌🏾 getting up earlier ready to start the day! I'm also working on not getting upset at small things! It's not even worth it! I'm working on smiling more and appreciating every single day! You should always be growing and working on something! If not then it's just a waste! Happy Friday 💋🦋🎈
I've decided to keep trying to nurse for now and supplement with pumping but for our first road trip to visit my in laws back in PA I might get some formula just to make it easier in the car (I might try to pump some during the day idk)
you're welcome
