okay so ethan is almost 4 months and his dad went to the store abs went a little crazy on formula baby food and cereal ( dont worry he's not eating any yet) im like why did you buy all this. His reply better to be prepared now then wait until later. I guess hes right but I breast feed right now and im also pumping and storing but at 6 months I plan on stopping because ill be done with nursing school and ill be working full time so we are preparing now but I think we have to much what do you ladies think none of the formula express until 2019 and im sure the cereal and baby food will get used
P.s im not bragging or anything and I dont get wic we bought all this with our own money

NOTHING IS WRONG WITH BEING PREPARED. 😄 AT LEASE YOUR BABY HAS EVERYTHING.. BEST TO BE PREPARED THOUGH. SMART THINKING

yeah I know its hard when you run out of things abd have to run to the store then I have 2 kids so loading and unloading is crazy especially grocery shopping that is why I always say but multiples of everything that way you don't have to run back for anything @jennlc

yeah I was scared it would expire but I checked the days of everything so I say by sept he should be eating the baby food and the cereal because he will be 7 months old @queenquee

its not gone expire.. all the expiration dates are like a Long way from now well at lease on my kids food...

yeah mine too they don't expire until like 2019, so if it doesn't get used by me I can always give it away you know @queenquee

you can actually start feeding the baby food at 4 months. my doctor told me introduce it slowly by doing a spoon full here and there in between milk feedings. I did it my baby is 6minths now and she can eat a whole 2.5 oz baby food

I thought about doing that, but I didnt know if it would interfere with him wanting to breast feed because with my first I only breast feed for 2 months so I was easier to introduce food, @martaboo I think I might try one out later on to see thank you

you can also mix the cereal with the breast milk in a bottle. they tell you when you introduce food mix it with breast milk or formula so they get the fimilar taste too.
