Has anybody been induced and NOT gotten an epidural?

I have and it's a lot more painful then going into labor naturally.with my first one my water broke but my labor didn't start so they had to induce me but once my labor got going it was too late for an epidural

I was induced for my 4th baby and as soon I asked for the epidural they put it in.
