I use a butter my mom makes that consists of coconut oil, jajoba oil, Shea butter and oatmeal. doesn't prevent but it works wonders with keeping them under control and not big, bright and noticeable.
@go nag918, I have the one for scars it's a small little bottle and I don't see any change. I don't know what would be the difference between the big one for stretch marks though
@go nag918, true! Just that my stomach itches allot and I'm not trying to make the stretch marks worst either
Mederma is great for scars I haven't tried it on the marks it's pricey though the stretch mark stuff is like 50$ I know for sure for bad scars it works !
Learn to love, accept, embrace them , they are beautiful reminders of the blessing you received. That's all the advice I have. There's not much you can do to prevent them genetics are genetics. My dtr is 13 she takes after her dads side they get stretch marks on their butt and hips and my baby has those already and she is only 13 and in great shape, you can't fight fate my dear, you can waste a lot of $ trying 😊
Preventing them? Helping them fade quicker? I don't think there's a real way to prevent them because it's partially genetic but I had no luck with cocoa butter when I was pregnant, but after I had my son I discovered Mederma and it helped the stretch marks fade pretty quick. You just have to accept them if you get them. Most women do so don't be hard on yourself if you get them (blame yo momma! Lol). Good luck!
I seen something on app called mama for stretch marks ladies claimed it works
They have Mederma at cvs, Walmart, target, they have the cream that's specifically for stretch marks, its 35-40$ but it works well.
