@boymama, exactly and I've been a smoker for almost 10 years already but I have two kids and each pregnancy I quit right away and while I was breastfeeding I didn't smoke until I started formula feeding. I would never forgive myself if something happened to my babies from my milk being contaminated.

@renaldoswife, I agree. I don't care if anyone smokes weed, I just think it defeats the purpose of breastfeeding... Why not just formula feed or not smoke...

I'm a weed smoker myself but didn't smoke while I was breastfeeding I just couldn't. I breastfed as long as I could and started formula feeding.

Natural news seems like a super credible source... I'm not ignorant or uneducated and I've been working in the medical field for the past 4 years.... You will not convince me it's a good idea to smoke weed while breastfeeding or being pregnant. I just think maybe you should switch to formula if you are considering it.

No judging here but weed isn't like alcohol, it still stays in your system no matter how long you wait to feed your baby. I would just put smoking off until I was done breast feeding or just formula feed.

@boymama, right. Might as well formula feed and let the baby be healthy since you choose not to.

you just have to wait about 2 hours after you smoke. it helps when u drink lots of water to flush it out faster.
