need breast feeding advice my son was fine the first couple days now he just won't latch and when he finally does he pulls off then trays gain and won't latch

if you have the small nipple shield try getting the medium one. also ask your doctor to prescribe you Newman's nipple cream. it's a medicated nipple cream that heals cracked and sore nipples it also is safe for baby to still nurse while using it.

Aw that sucks :( do you use nipple cream? Hopefully they don't stay cracked for long! And yeah girl pump it away! I'm glad you're trying to keep BFing no matter what :)
I have one but it hurts my nipple because their cracked etc hoping pumping will help because I really don't wanna use formula either @queendavis
I had that problem with my son too in the beginning. Go buy a nipple shield! They work wonders and he will most likely lath onto it. It sucks having to use one but it's better than switching to formula. I used the nipple shield for two weeks then my son didn't need it anymore. I guess he was just having a tough time latching for a bit!

I had to share this picture of Raptor! He is still doing amazing! He has lost a little bit of weight but that's expected! Yesterday was our second time trying to breast feed and he latched and sucked!!! It was so amazing and I am so proud of him!
Why does he like to latch as if he's pinching my nipple 😭 I've gotten used to it now but damn he bruised my nipple at the beginning😅😥😑
