to mommies that breasfeed....with my first I didn't get to so this is still new to me but do any of yall just breastfeed like no pumping and bottle feeding? very seldom do I ever pump, I have tried introducing a bottle but he won't take it I've even tried breast milk in a bottle and he just won't take it so I only breastfeed does anyone else's baby NOT take a bottle? I always hear of breastfed babies being introduced to the bottle then have trouble latching lol mine is the other way around.
@regelbaby, I'll keep trying even though I do get some time every now and then it would be nice not to have to rush back just to make sure he's ok and not screaming from hunger lol.
Just keep trying. I was lucky with my son I had a wedding may 9 to go to and I thought I better try n give him a bottle 2 weeks before the wedding just Incase he won't take it. Well he took it no problem. Was downing it before I had a chance to leave the room. Lol. He never took a paci for the first 2 months and i just kept trying and trying and now he'll take it sometimes.. I hate pumping too so i've got just enough for 2 more weddings. I wish I pumped more it's just hard to find the time really. It would be nice to have more of a stash so I could have a tiny bit of freedom :)
lol! maybe you should try giving him one once or twice a week so he gets used to the bottle so it's not such a big change. from mom to dad and boobie to bottle lol
my baby is not normal lol he refuses to tske s bottle at all even if he is starving!! I don't leave him that often but once in a while when I go tan get my nails done and grocery shop my husband says he will absolutely not take the bottle lol @delilahsmommy2.22
I hate pumping so my baby rarely gets a bottle. I have to admit she dose get upset eating from a bottle but if she's hungry enough she will.
Lol with my oldest switching from bottle to sippy was easy I have a feeling this transition is going to be so difficult my youngest hates anything rubber I'm suprised he takes a passy he makes a face everytime I give it to him lol.
He did once at 3 weeks old, then he did again around 6 months old because we were gonna longer than expected and he needed to eat so he did end up taking a bottle since he was hungry enough. Now he's one and will take a bottle all day 😩 trying to wean him off lol.
@queendavis, did he ever take a bottle at any point? it makes it hard to leave him with anyone including my husband since he won't take one.
And yeah my son wouldn't take a bottle ever! Even at 11 months it was hard getting him to take a bottle or sippy when I weaned him.
Bottles / breastfeeding
For those of you that breastfeed and pump/bottle feed what kind of bottles do you use? I breastfeed and only use the pumped milk when I go out or if my boyfriend feeds him at night. So he basically gets one bottle a day but the bottles come out way to fast for him and get all over him, I've tried dr browns and the Medela bottles but neither are slow enough. I feel like he's gonna choke. Help.
Hi, I have a 2 week old baby girl and she’s strictly breastfed. However, I tried introducing her to the bottle(pumped breast milk) and she doesn’t take it. What bottles do you guys use and how long did it take for your little one to drink from a bottle?
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
What are the best bottles for breastfed babies?
I tried 3 different ones including tommie tippie and dr.browns but she just won't take it.
Been exclusively breastfeeding for 3 1/2 months now. I want to go back to work just weekends but she won't take my breastmilk in a bottle 😩😩
I feel bad that my baby boy won't latch at all... I really want to breastfeed but he just won't latch not even with a nipple shield :/ I pump milk for him but it takes a whole day to pump 1 full 4 ounce bottle for him so I have no choice but to formula feed and it makes me feel worse when mom's bash formula feeding 😕
I know the feeling!
