getting him to latch after he's done I'm so sore and it's our first night home and I tried pumping idk if I'm doing it wrong cus I got very little to no milk when I tried
@tabyking1205, I wouldn't pump this early. The pain will subside, it's just something you have to get through. And he will most likely cluster feed and be attached to you all day but that's what helps regulate your supply. Nurse on demand, don't put him on a schedule. I nursed my daughter whenever she cried pretty much, and started pumping when she was about 6 weeks old. It took a while to build up a stash because I would only get a couple ounces at a time. Not all woman can pump and get 6ozs. Also, the amount you pump has no correlation to how much milk your son is getting. Stay hydrated, lots of water, that will help your supply.
