Advice from mothers that have already had summer babies or just know from others lol
what all do I need or can bring to hospital on delivery.
Can I bring my own hospital gown/robe or do I have to wear theirs ?
And summer babies.... i understand the mittens are still good for covering their nails from scratching themselves..but do they need long sleeve clothing or short sleeve in July?? I am wanting to order baby coming home outfit and getting some pics done in hospital. just didn't know if they need short or long sleeve clothing

Definitely take your own gowns/pjs/socks. their stuff is so uncomfortable. I personally hate baby mittens but I would definitely pack some onesies for the baby while in the hospital and then a comfy light outfit for the trip home.
I did short sleeve with my son. Normally the hospital will keep the temp at a good place, not to hot not to cold, and the babies get wrapped in blankets a lot. July is normally pretty hot anyways, I wouldn't want the little one to get to hot. :) Good luck! Your almost there!
it depends how hot it gets where you live. my baby is very hot natured and I live in Texas so I'd never put a long sleeve on her in the summer. I keep her in dresses already because she even gets too hot in onsies. babies over heat really easily so u have to be careful.
oh and yes you can wear your own gown, robe, clothes
@kt15obie you can do either bcuz it's going to be cold in the hospital. But a homecoming outfit you can do short sleeves
