My mom suffered the ultimate betrayal her companion of 37 years left her for her best friend of 40+ years just two months ago , she had a stroke behind it she is falling into a state of depression because instead of them just going on with their shady lives they keep bringing her into bullshit my mom has every issue health wise under the sun; bad heart, diabetes, weight, bad knee, n stoke caused temp paralysis of one hand. She cries constantly and in 31 years it's the most I ever seen her cry she is so strong and independent I hate seeing her so broken. So now everyday we are walking I need to lose weight for an Aug wedding but more so I'm doing this for my mom I can't let her get too far gone she really isn't in a position to deal with this tragedy, it can literally kill her.
It's hard to realize she wasted majority of her life on a man who never valued her enough to be loyal and marry her, her relationship with him is why i would rather have 100 failed relationships than to stay in one that is not worth a damn just because of time and history. You can meet someone tomorrow who will be more and do more for you than someone who been in your life for years. Though she is almost 70 I do hope she finds someone to live out the rest of her days with.

Yes she does thank you @mopace this situation makes me wonder is anybody really loyal my longest friendship is 20 years I couldn't imagine my friend doing something like this to me in another 20 years when I'm too old and sick to be able to kick her ass or really go out and catch a new man its devastating I know. I think only because I have this new baby is the reason my mom hasn't popped one too many pills I literally watch her take her meds n then keep them in my room cuz she's said she just want to die smh

Sorry to hear about your mom. Bring so close to my own mother I know what's it's like to feel helpless, my moms pain is my pain. I hope your mom finds the strength she needs to move forward.

even if it's just for the baby that gives a will to go on for now, it'll get better.. in this world you don't know who you can trust.. not everyone is for you and are only meant for a season reason or lesson.. we can pick up on signs and choose who we want to keep around.. unfortunately not everyone is for is friends family for... dad....I'm praying for her strength@ginag918
