Mini rant: I am 37 weeks and 3 days and NO ONE needs to tell me that I shouldn't be attempting to naturally induce labor. Do you really think that I would be doing this if my dr didn't specifically say "Try everything you can possibly do to induce naturally cause your baby is huge and your not dilating"? No I wouldn't. Every pregnancy is different, every person is different, opinions are like assholes, every one has one, but that doesn't mean I wanna see yours. Especially if you're trying to make me feel bad for something I was told to do. Okay it's off my chest lol.
You gta do what u gta do. No mother ever hurts her baby. I hate when people say "omg why would u do that" like Umm U wanna give birth for me? No. Ok I thought so. Do what's right for your body
It wasn't on here, it was something this girl had literally told me on my fb status saying I'm a bad mother for not wanting my child to stay in for as long as possible. I was just extremely appalled and figured there are people on here that can surely relate @kelsey.anne.
My daughter was 8lbs 8oz exactly at 40 weeks. 😥 I feel your pain on not wanting to have a big baby! but definitely do what you need to do! don't let anyone on here tell you different.
Oh no I definitely agree with you on that, some girls just want to have their babies quicker for what seems like no reason other than they want to meet them... Which is sweet and all but not advisable lol. I'm afraid measurements might be off but at the same time me and my twin sister came out 2 weeks early weight 8.6 and 8.9 and my husband was a 10 lb baby. Lol so big babies definitely run in the family! I'm just listening to my dr lol @kelsey.anne.
I only don't care for the ladies trying to go into labor for no reason, just because. your situation is different though definitely! although sometimes their measurements can be off. They told my step sister her baby would be 9lbs & came out 6lbs. but definitely do what your doctor is telling you do! 😊👍
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
You couldn't find a babysitter?!
Mommas, do you take your kids with you to run errands and go to mundane appointments? On two separate occasions, a doctors appointment for me and today at a car service appointment, someone has remarked "you couldn't find a babysitter?!" It never crossed my mind to find a babysitter. I take my 2 kids with me just about everywhere. They are well behaved (minus the occasional 3 year old meltdown) and one of them is attached to my boob the majority of the time anyw...
Locking your doors
We are having a discussion on one of my birth boards from my older kids about locking doors and security alarms. There are many of us (me included) who do not lock our doors at home (I actually don't even have a deadbolt on my house and we don't lock it when we leave either), and others who think that's totally weird. So what do you do? Do you lock your doors? Do you think it's weird that people don't?
If makes me more nervous for them to stay in there. My doctor usually induced at 39 weeks bc he can. He stressed this week to me about baby movement. It worries me that you can loose them at this point. I started evening primrose oil last night. You could try it. It is suppose to thing your cervix.
