thats braxton hicks not contractions. you will know when its contractions.

they might hurt and they might not it all depends on your body reaction to it. if you have good pain tolerance then it might not hurt you when it hurt others. everyone labor pains are different my cousin birthed her son laughing through it all the contractions or pushing him out did not hurt or bother her and she did not have any meds

@babyg2015, I've had BH before though and those hurt like period cramps.

yes with three of my four kids I had contractions that did not hurt until they broke my water. with my oldest daughter I was actually dilated to a 7 when I arrived at the hospital.

Mine were 5 minutes apart and didn't let up though.

Thanks for the heads up @poodie87 I'm gonna keep a close eye on them to see if they continue. My cousins said they didn't know they were having contractions until they got hooked up to the machines.

@junebaby, it's difficult to tell when I should go to L&D because they just feel uncomfortable, almost like my belly goes numb before it gets hard. I'm gonna wait it out and see if it continues. If it does then I'm gonna head to L&D. Doc did tell me I was a "snug" 2cm dilated this afternoon. Who knows.

ur bh hurt ? those usually dont hurt..i was confused with mine too i wasent sure if i was having contractions or what was going on... but you will know when theyre real contractions. they felt like i was getting electricuted in my stomach.

@jaspersmama61315, they probably started feeling them because they mind started registering how close this were I think it's all mental you have to focus and do whatever it is your body tells you.

if they get closer together and don't ease up go in. drink a lot of water and if they go away that's Braxton hicks

I went for a 2 mile walk earlier this evening and have been drinking water all day. I'm like a camel when it comes to me and water. ☺️ thanks for the help ladies!!

My Braxton hicks hurt too, I never feel my contractions I had them 10 min apart and dilated to a 3 and didn't feel a thing.
