Has anyone tried Diclegis for morning sickness??
I take 10mg 2 of them at night only. It makes me fall right to sleep and knocks out my nausea completely. My dr found out that my insurance didn't cover it and gave me 12 bottles of samples just so I would have the medicine I need.
It helps me sleep too! But when you take it during the day it's not a drowsy type tired like if you take Benadryl
It's worked miracles for me!!! At first I took 2 at night and 2 in the afternoon but now I only take 2 at night
@brightsunsett, @disneybaby1011 what dosage do you take? just at night time or morning and afternoon too...? also did it make you drowsy or affect your sleep?
Yeahh i heard about the law suits but i talked to my doctor and she said that its for the high dosage and that its way to much and you are only supposed ti have a small dosage
It works grest for.me. and you could ask your doctor for samples of it?
I take it and it works amazing for me since zofran and penergan didn't work at all for me.
@forever_1127, I took zofran my 1st pregnancy it was amazing but after all the law suits and health risks j don't want to take it again
Zofran? Not sure how it's actually spelled.
My pharmacist told me rather than pay the 500$ it would be for the prescription of that stuff that I could take a certain sleep aid & b6 vitamins. The sleep aid part just knocked me out and I would feel ok-ish during the day but I get morning sickness at night. And one night I ended up throwing the pills up so I gave up. I couldn't take zophran because it gave me a bad headache that lasted over 24 hours.
It disnt work for me personally so i took zofran low dosage of either 4 or 8
My husband said I looked strung out after one dose because it knocked me out. I didn't take it after that.
@jomommaclark, do you just take the 2 tablets at night or do you have to take a morning & afternoon dose as well?
I had to be put on phenergan mine was so severe
@jomommaclark, @junebaby Oh good! I'm so glad to hear that! I've been so sick & I can't hardly function! Thank you so much!
Sadly, it didn't work for me. I had severe nausea until about a week ago from day 1! I even ended up in the hospital at week 7 for dehydration (whatever they put in my IV worked instantly..the nurse looked at me crazy when I asked if I could have one of them for the road.. lol) But everyone is different...you will just have to keep trying different ones. Worse case scenario... suppositories which is not the most delightful experience, but...it worked!
Hang in there!
yes it's safe and it's worked miracles for me
I take two at night and one in the morning. it didn't affect anything for me.
