does getting a catheter put in hurt?

it's highly uncomfortable. they lubricate the tube so it doesn't hurt so bad.

it shouldn't hurt, just uncomfortable.

no , it just really uncomfortable. but I would rather get that then a bed pan every 5 mins

mine wasn't even uncomfortable I didn't feel anything. getting it out is easier

Are you getting one now or when labor happens? If it's when labor happens you wonder even notice it in the mix of things.

It's for when I go into labor, my mom just mentioned that I'd have to get a catheter and now I'm all freaked out lol @coraanne

I didn't get one, I didn't care if I peed (which I did) it's so completely normal for the doctors they don't even blink. It's up to you mama, don't let others scare you either!

It was uncomfortable having it put in, but having it removed was not too bad.

I didn't even notice getting mine. at the time, it'll be the last thing on your mind.

How soon did yall get yours put in from the time you went into labor?
