is there anyway I can sleep on my sides or stomach? my back is killing and my sides hurt ...

you have a main vain that runs down your belly that is behind your uterus and when you lay on your back the baby lays on that main vain . I don't know what your OB is talking about I know from experience I almost lost my son and went unconscious and I was only on my back for an ultrasound

your not supposed to sleep on your back. it cuts off circulation to the baby

The snoogle pregnancy pillow has been a life saver for me

I sleep with a body pillow, a regular one from like wal mart under my belly and partially between my legs. It's the most comfortable way I found to sleep since it's now uncomfortable for me to sleep on my belly

@poodie87, I slept with pillows under my back last night and kept waking up . and aren't the body pillows like 50$??

@kaidenleewadesmommy, I never heard that you can kill your baby some people can still sleep on their stomach. However I sleep on my sides with my body pillow or I would sleep prompt up with pillows behind my back and head

I always slept on my stomach! Not literally ON it but just make sure you're comfortable. My doctor always told me I can sleep anyway I want as long as I'm comfortable :)

@bellamama09, I was told if I try my stomach I'll kill my baby?

Sleep however is comfortable, your body will let you know if can't handle it
