really having a hard time with my 2yrs old right now...he is throwing tantrums, but what scares me is lately when he does it, he bangs his head on the nearest hard thing possible (floor, table, wall etc) I don't know what to do 😩😩

My Stepson Does That But I Make Him Stand In The Corner or Take A Nap & He Falls Asleep Right Away Usually It's Because There Tired or Just Want Attention I'll Ignore Him Sometimes & He'll Stop

yes I tried putting him in the corner, he still does it. I know 9 times out of 10 he is just acting out because he knows there is another baby coming, but in so afraid he is going to hurt his self really bad 😩😩 @mommyof10627

It is normal... just something kids go through, I am sure he will grow out of it.

take him to the pediatrician. it maybe just a tantrum , but he can get head trauma from that . and you don't want something to pop up down the line (god forbid) and they ask you how was it caused then when you tell them he used to bang his head as a kid they going to look at you funny because it wasn't reported . doctors always looking for the smallest things to write reports on when it comes to kids . so I say go get him checked out then tell the doctor when he do it and why and they could run some tests to make sure he's ok . I have a 3 yearold myself and she used to try to bite herself or scratch her skin off when she gets mad and I took her to the doctor and told them that . they told me ways also she can stop.. @babybump3
