so this is my first pregnancy I was wondering what milk I should be drinking I'm use to drinking 2% milk but change to whole milk due to the fact that my new room mates drink this milk milk is milk it taste the same some say the change is okay some say that the saturated fat in whole milk is not good for pregnant women can someone give me some advice ? thanks
Both my OB and WIC said you should be drinking Fat Free milk (Skim) it goes Fat Free or Skim , 1%, 2%, than Whole Milk !
1 percent is so gross I figured out since I got wic I was buying it but I stopped now lol back to 2 percent cause I can't handle it it tastes like watered down
Drink whole milk!! Much better for you! You don't get anything from drinking fat free or 1%.
I know wic only offers 1% and skim...they don't offer whole milk until your child is 1
There's 1% too. Yes ^^ it's much healthier for pregnant women.
I know if you get WIC they say fat free milk is the best for pregnant women but don't taste that great.
So since Eliana just drinks almond milk now it's hard to take extra milk with us anywhere.. So I guess my question is, is there like little take along almond milk boxes? Last night we was at my sil house and she had two bottles and ran out so I had to run to the store and buy a whole thing of milk 🤦🏻 it would be sooo much easier if I could find some in little milk boxes!!
Ugh. I thought milk was suppose to get rid of heartburn. In my case it causes it. Haven’t been able to drink it any this whole pregnancy but today I just really wanted some with my cake.. Now I’m regretting it🤦🏻♀️

My fridge picture... needless to say my husband drinks a lot of soda and I drink a lot of tea ?
My baby won't drink milk, I was thinking of putting some "flour" in milk for him.
but he has reflux and drinking cow & gate.
Anyone know of a flour to milk?
some girls should shut the hell up .. they always say if you don't have something nice to say then don't say it ! I hate judgmental people with closed minded views .
Milk is not a good source of calcium unless you are taking vitamin D with it because your body will not absorb the calcium without the vitamin D.. I just take calcium pills and vitamin D along with my prenatal and vitamin c of course :)
