QUESTION -- so since I won't be having a baby shower or anything, I'm set on a birth announcement. My question is, how soon after giving birth can I have the baby photographed for it?
@katt18, thank you so much. shame you aren't in Manhattan, your prices are super reasonable
@mamavynom, that it is normally i charge $20 for an hour or by the picture if they just want a few. I did hers for free since it was family. Best advice i can give if make sure you have really good lighting, the baby is warm, and wait about 10 min after feeding to avoid spit up. Also if you want black and white make sure you take them in black and white to avoid heave shadows.
@katt18, beautiful photos. especially meeting dad. I'm thinking of getting my own nice camera and takin pix myself because holy crap newborn photography is expensive as hell
@mamavynom, the baby will most likely sleeping so the flash won't bother them.
most photographers have a deadline of the baby being 10 days or younger for newborn pics. I'll be doing mine a week after the baby is born cause I'm having a c-section and I'll be in the hospital for a couple days and we're doing outdoor pictures.
@iloveni0820, so it is safe within a week or so? I just don't want the flashes to hurt the baby or anything. Noon mommy
I try to be i honestly only do fixed income newborn & family pictures.
