my baby crys a lot when she's about to sleep sometimes! ! why is that?? Is anyone else going through…

My baby is 7 weeks and he has been fighting his sleep for the past two weeks. Anytime he feels sleepy he just cries and cries until he wears himself out. His doctor said it was normal and get used to it because it is only the beginning lol.

I usually swaddle my 9 week old up real tight when she does this and fights her sleep and try to relax her as much as possible by snuggling her, always knocks her out!

Lol I know right! I swaddle my little man and I will put him in his swing until he gets into a deep sleep and move him. Also i know it's horrible but let them cry. Noe if she gets so upset it stresses her out help her. But if she's whining let her cry a bit. Lol brace yourself it's a very long road.

she's might be over tired. try putting her to sleep when she starts zoning out, not crying. young babies should only be awake for an hr or so then they need sleep.

I also walk around the house with him, and rock him in the rocking chair. Laying him on my chest and patting his back helps too.

babies don't fight their sleep, they become over tired and it seems like their fighting it but really they are just having a hard time falling or staying asleep. they aren't choosing to. only keep your 7 week old awake for about an hr then let her nap.
