I was depressed too but I just went and saw a counselor for a couple weeks and my depression totally went away!

To be honest taking them is not a good option. try go natural ..Yoga, massage, small vacation, things that can put your mind at ease. Them pills can mess you up

You have to do what's best for your situation and if that's pills, then so be it. There are some that are safe during pregnancy and your doctor will know exactly which ones. It's best to do your own research and inform yourself on what choice you want make. There are many options available including counseling, meditation, etc. I wish you the best.

Yes I'm currently in counseling so maybe it will help. I did do some research and that's why I'm asking around. I'm going to see my doctor before I actually take them.

@queeneden, I agree, I wouldn't risk it with antidepressants. try yoga, exercising, raki massages, counseling, picking up a hobby you enjoy. it'll pass.

I stopped my antidepressants when I found out I was pregnant. But by my second trimester there was no way I could keep going. So I weighed the pros and cons, talked to my doctor, and started back on them. Best decision I made for my little one. Suffering is worse than taking a safe medication.

There are lots of PROVEN safe medicines - that will cause no side effects/defects you can take. Just talk to your doctor.
