Im not dilated yet 😫 but at my appointment today I got checked & they can feel her. She finally dropped. I didnt even walk for 2 minutes & I started getting contractions (before they checked me) It seems like walking is gonna get everything started & Im excited 😁😁 Im 38 weeks & 2 days. Have any of you mommies had your baby soon after your tummy dropped?

I'm in your shoes!!! Last week (35w) she was super high an I was dilated to 1. Yesterday 36 weeks the doctor said her head is right there an ready, but I'm still a 1. Im measuring 38 w. Im trying everything to get myself to dilate 👍
I'm 38 weeks today and was at a 2 and 50% effaced but she's still pretty high up but I've been having contractions for 3 days. With my first two days after she dropped I had her.

So I keep feeling these lil sharp pains on my right side. You do get pains like that before you start your period right.? Remember I had that dark brown spotting for a few hours last month on the 22. My period suppose to start today.

When did you ladies start getting checked to see if your dilating? I am 36 weeks 4 days and not once have any of my doctors checked to see if I am or not.. Only been checked to see if my son is head down, and he is.. Last week I went and the doctor said that she didn't wanna check to see if I was dilating cause she didn't wanna "mess with my cervix" 😕 or "get things started" those were her words... FTM

They say for first time moms the baby drops up to a month before labor...sounds discouraging. But you should know some people don't dilate until the day they deliver. You can be at 1 for a month or go to two to ten in a matter of hours! So don't stress! Look up the signs of labor! Make sure you're on the look out for your water breaking, it can be just a trickle. But you'll be fine! Hang in there!
