I just wanted to vent in a safe and supportive place and possibly get some advice. I'm 21 weeks, almost 22 weeks pregnant and beyond excited to be having a baby boy. My husband and I both are. I've always had issues with depression and anxiety well before I became pregnant. Now that I'm pregnant and not on any of my former meds the depression and anxiety are getting worse than ever and I don't know what to do.

@dnae115, also talk to your OB. If you took meds before for anxiety and/or depression, it is possible that they can put you on a low dose of certain meds to help you out that will not affect the baby. I have anxiety and depression and was taking meds before I was pregnant, then I got pregnant and they put me on a really low dose of safe meds. They definitely don't do what my old meds did, but it really helped out.

Yeah it was pretty hard at first but what definitely got me motivated is when I found out my baby can feel everything I'm feeling. You're definitely not alone girl ❤️❤️

Talk to somebody and try not to be alone cause that's when most of the over thinking starts. What also worked for me is I start my day off listening to music whenever I start to feel sad, I put some music on and dance it off (the dancing part doesn't last much since I run out of breath quicker now lol) but it gets me in such a good mood
