How do you know if you have preeclampsia?

you'll usually have swelling all over, high blood pressure, and they will check for protein in your urine.

Change in vision, ringing ears, headache, and swelling. If you think you might have it call your Ob right away so they can check the protein in your urine.

Everyone keeps freaking out on me my parents and boyfriend because one of my feet is swollen and hurts so bad but that doesnt mean i have preeclampsia right? my urine always came back fine and my blood pressure is where it is suppose to be at

You should be (if you haven't already) starting weekly appointments, your doctors will monitor any changed in your blood pressure or urine. Don't stress yourself out- lots of women get swollen feet and don't have preeclampsia. Just be aware of the symptoms and let your doctor know of you're concerned.

no swollen feet doesn't mean you have it. you'll often swell in your hands and feet too but let your doctor know if you are worried.

I meant face and hands will swell as well

no just one foot and i think its because im 35 weeks pregnant and i work everyday but thank you everyone :) ill tell everyone

Preeclampsia , a lot of weight gain , swelling in hands, feet, face, and eyes (Severe swelling) High Blood Pressure, Protein in Urine, Seeing Visions (Like Stars) Severe Headaches that just WONT go away.. Hope that help.
