Hey ladies, any advice on what I can do when baby won't sleep unless he's in my arms but I want to sleep also!?

yaa the first night home my daughter was up allll night feeding.. now she eats between 11:30pm-12am and is right out by 1am then sleeps til 5am..but during the day she cluster feeds. alwayyss wantss to eat.. its alot easier to breast feed when baby is in bed with u already I find.. thats what started my daughter sleeping with me sometimes cuz the first few days were really hard and id end up falling asleep feeding her. now its gotten easier now that shes got herself somewhat of a schedule. @mellieelynn

Slept with him last night and had no issues other then he cluster feeds around 2am. May try supplementing with formula before bed time so he sleeps longer! @kimmy1990

my baby girl is 3weeks old.. I have the same issue.. I just lay down in my bed with her without the blanket on.. seems like the fastest way for her to fall asleep so I can sleep too. sometimes ive fallen asleep with her.. but ive made sure its safe.. theres been alot of recent studies stating bed sharing is actually beneficial, as long as u follow safe sleep procedures. @mellieelynn

So far I have managed proving myself up on the couch and letting him sleep on my chest, he's so cute that I don't mind lol but I will try the shirt thing too! Thank you @sophi23

Try putting one of your shirts close to the bassinet when you put him down so he can still smell you. Remember small babies need momma to be really close to them most of the time,is tiring but is worth it,that short time goes very fast :)
