That's good then, it's prob not as bad as they're making out! The 4d ones are brilliant I went for private scan on Thursday and got a peak of my baby in 4d you can see everything, hopefully that will ease your mind a bit xx

@tori27, thanks chick. Ive a 3d scan soon so ill hopefully see his wee face then and see how severe it is. But ive alot of support from the cleft team in the hospital so we'll get him fixed 😁x

Ah poor wee man, I know a girl her little girl had that when she was born she's about 2 now and you can sort of see it going away! Good luck with everything I'm sure you will love him twice as much & he will be beautiful xx

@katyaoct15, yea they detected it during my 20 week scan. i knew something was wrong because they kept focusing on the face and then the doctor was called in. ive seen a few pics and they look good. im just hoping it doesnt affect his wee nose too. ive to get a 3d scan so they can see if the palettes also affected. im just praying its not x

@weebegs Have you found out about the lip during the anatomy scan? And yeah, don't you worry about that, it's something detectable and easy fixed by a simple surgery. I've seen the results of it on much older kids and it still looks totally fine, so if they will fix it on a newborn you'll soon forget it ever existed.

congrats @weebegs hes going to be beautiful ♥ youre having him in the Royal aren't you? I had to stay in and all the midwifes are so lovely and nice you'll get alot of support xx

@daniellelc91, @elisabetesantos @mizzguyana thanks girls. its just abit upsetting but im gona stay positive. itll be hard having my baby taken away when hes born but at least ive got time to prepare myself. ive got chatting to a girl whos son had a double clef too and the operation has worked wonders. so im hopeful xx

I understand that completely❤️ that's your baby, you just want everything to be perfect and for him to be happy any healthy! But as long as he has his mummy he will be absolutely fine! At least he gets an operation as soon as he is born. Don't worry as I said, he's your baby boy and will always be perfect, these things happen! Lots of love xxx

@daniellelc91, thanks chick. it was just upsetting to hear cuz everything else was healthy. the face was the last thing they checked. hes to get an operation when hes born and he'll have to stay on hospital cuz the docs will have to fed him x

Aww congratulations! As for the cleft lip, they do amazing things these days and he will be perfect regardless. Stay positive xx
