almost 39 weeks and my cervix is still closed what r my odds of being induced

It just depends on your doctor really, my doctor doesn't like for babies to over bake so I'm getting induced at 39 weeks.

everyone I know who has had babies says that walking a lot is how they got their cervix to start dialating

You don't have to be induced if you choose not to be. It just depends on whether you're willing to go over your due date. I went a week and a day over my due date.
