@kianne, that's awesome! I'm sure my husband will be fine with it! He will only be home and awake a few hours a day because of work. So it won't have to do that much diaper changing(:

@awn0710, I was lucky my hubby jumped right on board lol I expected him to take a bit of convincing.

@jenkobe8348, They save a decent amount of money and can be used from birth to potty training with multiple babies and it helps with diaper rash a bunch. It's also better for the environment and all that jazz but honestly I'm doing it to save money. It's more money upfront but long term saves a lot.

I'm clueless to clothe diapers but I wanted to know what are the benefits in going with clothe diapers versus pampers?

@kianne, yea. That wouldn't be a very good situation! I'll be a stay at home mom so I don't really worry about cloth diapering. I'll have to see how the husband feels about it tho. Sometimes he gets kinda lazy. Like most men. And I'll be pissed if he just leaves a cloth diaper sitting on the floor!!! Lmao

@kianne, no. You've been a big help! You actually posted brands. So I can look into them! And I have 1 friend who cloths! But my sister uses honest brand diapers and she swears by them! So I'm torn between those and cloth! I was thinking cloth during the day and disposable at night or when we are out and about!

@awn0710, I haven't yet you won't need one till' the baby is on solid foods because while they are on formula/breast milk their poo is water soluble and won't stain if you just kinda throw the excess in the toilet. Gonna get a sprayer a little later on. Sorry I don't have much info but it's def worth looking into I have a couple people I know who cloth diaper and say they love it and it's helpful with being on a budget.

Well I'm only a beginner but I can answer what I know :) there are a couple different kinds the two I'm using are pockets and covers. The pockets you do wash after each use and from what I've been told the suggested amt is 24-30 and you'll probably have to wash every day to every other day. Covers you put over prefolds/inserts that can be reused 3-5 times before needing to wash the cover.

So I've been dying to kinda be more educated when it comes to cloth diapering. I may really want to try it out! How exactly do they work? Every time baby uses the bathroom you wash the entire diaper. Or is there like an insert that you just take out to wash! I feel like if you have to wash them every single time baby uses the bathroom. I'll have to do laundry twice a day. Or buy 100 reusable diapers!!!!
