lmfao they didnt tell me anything.. but they knew I was in alot of pain.. I handled it well until she got stuck then I was screaming my head off.. I woulda ripped someones head off if they told me to stop screaming lmao..
yeahh thats exactly how I felt lol except at one point I woulda preferred the epidural but it wasnt available.. all I was offered was fetenol. once an hour. and it wore off in like 15mins.. it was worth it in the end.. but I was I coulda had something for when she was actually delivered. she turned half way thru coming out so her shoulders got stuck.. the doctor had to turn and pull her as a nurse pushed on my belly as I was pushing...boy did I scream.. ive been thru labor befor but holy it was more painful this time lol.. soo worth it tho as soon as she was out! :) @mellieelynn ... hes very cute btw :)
I know what you mean, I wanted something stronger but already made it to far they couldn't give me morphine or anything and they wouldn't have had time to do an epidural so it's a good thing I didn't want it @kimmy1990
I had fetenol too during my delivery... at some points I had wished it was stronger or lasted longer..but it definitely took the edge off so I could relax for a few contractions instead of it being really intense.. so happy for you!!! :)
Oh sorry i misunderstood, they gave me fentonal and I used the gas through like 4 contractions but that was it. No epidural or anything like that just needed something to relax for a quick second because I progressed so fast, I honestly don't think I did anything much to help, guess I just got lucky @nidag @boots
Oh you are so brave :) Did you do anything during your pregnancy that you think helped you go all natural?? I really wanna go for it too but I find myself doubting myself at times...Inspiring both story!!
Here's how the birth story goes, they hooked me up to an IV drip for oxytocin at 4:00pm Sunday evening, I was having mild contractions but nothing major and only 3cm dilated by, 5:30pm they broke my water and almost immediately intense labour began, I dilated pretty much a cm every 45 mins and by 8:30 felt the need to push, I started pushing around 8:40, and with the help of a vacuum delivered him at 9:10pm with pretty luckily only 2nd stage tearing. :) all in all a smooth and very fast labour and delivery! @nidag @boots
