Took a shower had a sudden pee urge and it came out of know where & have been going ever since non stop for like 15 mins! Wondering if my water broke?

I was told to put a pad on and if you fill the pad full within like an hour or 2 than your water has broke

did it feel like it came out on its own? my friend had this happen to her and she thought she peed herself but it kept happening and turns out she was in labor!
