Doctors are rubbish can never get a bloody appointment 😩might aswell just wait another 4weeks till i see her at one of my antenatal appointments,stupid painful thrush. #could#cry

So its a canestan one then? Lol iv read somewhere you can use them you can get a tablet wat u take orally thats the only thing we cant use,they are right expensive those i bort this thing its canestima or somethin like that and you only put it on wen u get an itch and it soothes it for that moment i need to get rid of it once and for all,sorry but does it have 5 tablets if its for 5days? @tuftyturtle xx
I don't know if you can use the gel when pregnant thou. I got it in boots it was next to the canestan stuff. eld have to read the box/ask the pharmacist if can use it when pregnant. I remember it said not t use when trying to conceive thou xx
Yeah the tablet one. I recently had thrush quite a lot (before I was pregnant) and I used this gel. It comes in a purple box, and you use it five days in a row. I haven't had it since. The creams are normally only to stop the itching. not kill the infection xx
@tuftyturtle, Is it the tablet pessary i tried the one where you put cream inside didn't do nothin for me,i had it my whole pregnancy last time and this one to,eughh is there nothing stronger to use that anyone knows of? X
You can use the canestan pessary that you can get in boots etc. I had it my entire pregnancy. probably only went a day or two thrush free. It was awful. hoping it's better this time !
@samblanchys, ive already tried it,its soothes it for abit but dont get rid of it i got it in in my last pregnancy all the way through just my luck to get it again 😥xx
@mummy123, I know it sounds wierd but I was told that if I ever get it to put natural yogurt on it and it helps x
They will probably just fob me of,i don't want to go sit in walk in centre and they not even give me anythin its a right pain,its bearable through the day but seems to get worse at night @elisabetesantos xx
That sucks! :/ try calling 111 and ask if you can just pop into the hospital to get it checked. I know how horrible it feels x
if you can't get a gp appointment, go to your local chemist and speak to your pharmacist. they can advise you and are far more knowledgeable than many people realise. x
