I get so depressed reading some of the younger ladies posts on here sometimes. I remember back when I had my first two boys, they are 17 and 14 years old now. We had a rough start. I married when my youngest was just a year old. We struggled, a lot, but my husband was a great father to the boys. Sadly he died on our youngest sons birthday. We hit new levels of struggle trying to figure out this new life and it sucked, big time. Then I met a widower who lost his wife a year before I lost my husband. We hit it off, so much in common, it just felt right. We took things extremely slow and proceeded with extra caution. Neither of us were supposed to be able to have more children, yet we still used birth control and took every precaution. We never fight, argue or have any issues. Financially we struggle yet our bills are paid and we both work together to make the best of each day. He accepts my boys and includes them in everything. This man has been such a blessing to us that now I honestly can't imagine our life being any different. We are expecting a baby boy in October and planning a true redneck wedding yet a date hasn't been set yet. I never thought I would have another baby nor get married again, yet here I am. I wouldn't have it any other way. Our family has experienced the lowest of lows but there has always been hope for a better tomorrow. Thanks to my fiance I finally see that beautiful rainbow at the end of a horrible storm. Not saying the skies will stay beautiful for forever but with him at my side I can face any storm knowing there will always be a new rainbow.
so happy for you. we can only appreciate the good times if we've been through hard times. glad your in love and I'm also due in October. life is beautiful.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
Thanks ladies! My family has definitely had more than it's fair share of hard times. Now even when it gets rough we just dig our heels in more and stand against the storm together. My boys have been so protective of me since losing their dad. Both of them with the mind set that I was now their responsibility. They had to grow up faster than they should have. The year before we lost their dad, a week before Christmas, our family home went up in flames. We lost everything. Memories are all we have left of the life we once knew. Our family has grown stronger because of the hardships. Without hope and faith I have no idea where we would be today. It doesn't always have to be peaches and cream but we make the best we can out of the hands we were dealt in this game we call life. After finding out we were pregnant both boys have been even more protective, not even letting me move a laundry basket lol. I truly have been blessed. I do not take one moment for granted for the next minute is not promised. When we found out our baby was conceived on Christmas according to the doctors that just reconfirmed that everything really does happen for a reason.
