I took a test two days ago and it was negative, do you think it would show up so soon.? I'm just worried because I haven't gotten it and I am never late. If I am pregnant that would be great.. It's just the not knowing that's worrying me..

I've never Hurd of doctors saying your more fertile before your period because ovulation happens for most women on cycle day 10-14 I believe and the egg only lasts 12-24 hours after it's released.. but I would suggest to you getting a doctor's appointment to confirm by blood work

I'm not sure @aphrodite2014 is right about the ovulation period and the egg releasing time. I personally got a positive pregnancy test the day after my missed Period.

So did I with my son; but I don't know if I could have possibly conceived two days before my period.. Maybe that's why it's showing negative right now.. Ugh. I'm stressed right now..

I'm in the medical field and I've read many books. everyone's ovulation time is different but the "normal" range is about that. after you get a positive OPK test it will release in 12-24hours and it will only live about that long sometimes up to 48 hours. that's why you can get a positive pregnancy test after your missed period you would have ovulated at about the 10 day of cycle and it needs time for implantation and that's what happens in the Lutal phase of your period.
