at least 2 months before your due date. you never know what could happen. With my first she was delivered 6 weeks early and i missed my own shower.

by 7months ull know the gender n u have to be sure cx cause sometimes they tell u ur having a boy n ur end up having a girl or the other way.. if u find out early

I just had mine at barely 8 months but because I wanted to have a half after to have time to get everything else no one gives me (:
