How do you guys feel about elective c-sections?

I think its bullshit...if you don't have to have a C-section like an emergency and you just want to because you don't wanna do it vaginally its just stuiped to me...I have heard some girls say they got a C-section because they didn't want to do Vaginally because they didn't want their vag to be lose..like wtf??? it actually makes you tighter..

Idk in a way it just pisses me off...lol

I've always heard that they wont do a c section unless its necessary because its so much harder on you and the recovery is a lot harder.

@amber.s95, I heard they would, but I don't want to have one unless I need to, like if the baby is too big or something lol. The whole idea of labor freaks me out

I made the mistake of watching natural birth videos and now im scared to death to give birth lol but a c section seems waaaay more scary. if you're already freaked out dont watch the videos!

@ngujen, I honestly don't think its a good idea..if you can do it vaginally why not do it...its such an easy process...your body knows what to do ...I gave birth naturally and just went with the flow..I wasnt playing anything I wasn't against having the epidural nor was I against doing it naturally I just wanted to see were it goes but I did great stay strong and relaxed..I ended up pushing my daughter out in 25 minutes..but everyone's body is different.. I have a pretty high pain tolerance and my contractions felt like my period cramps so I knew how to handle it..but My opinion is if you can do Vaginal Why Not???? The doctors will know before you if the baby is to big and will rush you to an emergency C-Section...if I were you I'd just go with the flow and don't scare your self...I was nervous but don't be your body knows exactly what to do!!! stay positive girl!!

@ngujen, I was in active Labor for 10 hours and when it was time to push I got her out in about 25 minutes....and @phasion I knew a girl who did three C-sections for her babies because she did NOT want to do it vaginal and she thought she would be lose if she did do it...but she's a nasty skank...so she's probably really lose anyways lol 😂😂😂

I had a emergency c-section with my son he was sunny side up. So for my second son I'm due to have in October I'm having a planned csection. Most places won't do a VBAC. I don't won't to take the risk of my uterus rupturing and baby dying all because I wanted to try a natural birth.

@jenkobe8348, with the women that have had an emergency C- Section that are expecting again the doctors actually recommend the women do it again just because of the risk what could happen..no judgment... I just know the girl that I'm talking about brags about it and why she did it..that shit pisses me off...and people that want to do because why?? the doctors will know what to do if there's a problem..so yup.that's my thoughts lol

@haileysmommy21, I mean just like you choose natural birth, others rather have c sections (not because of having a loose vagina haha) I guess everyone feels different about it. I know people who do c sections just because they want their baby out earlier, I feel like if they baby isn't out, it isn't ready so why take it out earlier, you know? Either way, both options are scary to me since I have anxiety :(
