I can't wait to start feeling the baby's kicks outside of my belly so that my husband can feel them. but I don't think he is very excited. I know he is happy we are expecting because we tried so hard to conseve to begin with but he just acts distant toward the pregnancy. like he barely touches my belly and he never listens to the heartbeat at home so idk it just makes me so sad should I tell him how I feel ?
Same here!! I think that there is a point for each of them where it becomes real and they truly feel that connection. I know that my fiancé loves our baby and the fact that we are pregnant but I have to tell him to touch my belly and talk to the baby it's annoying 😑 I think he will feel even more of a connection once were really far along or once he can actually feel the kicks outside my stomach. You're not alone!
how bout u talk to him about feelings ...ask him if he has fears or stresses. some of the prob with guys is they worry bout being able to afford a baby...then being able to go without sleep to care for one...they arent as positive boutthe work. im sure he is happy ur preggy...since u planned it...but suring pregnacy they have more negative thoughts. i talked to my own hubby...and ive told him that regardless of the fears his involvement in the pregnacy with love....is really important for me. i told him that pregnacyz are a blessing and rare opportunity and that having a positive one is a wish for me. because how u feel when ur pregnant is remembered for the rest of a womans life. talk..dont worry k.
^^Word. nothing has changed for them. i don't think it actually became "real" for my bf until I was in the hospital in labor.
it takes mem awhile to actually feel like its "real". to him, nothing is different, he doesn't feel the physical and emotional things you do. once you start showing more and he starts feeling baby too he will probably warm up to the idea more. once we found out gender and started shopping for things my hubby got more excited to. once she was here though he fell in love. give it time and be patient with him. I'm sure he will get more excited as your pregnancy progresses.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
TWW!!
2dpo and on the tww journey. Anyone on the same dpo or close? Haven't decided if I will test at 12dpo or just wait and see if she shows up!!
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.

My bf was the same.. I never really mentioned it since I know he was steessing to find us a house.. stessing abiut the income... just steessing period... I was patient... as soon as babys kicks could be felt I made him touch my belly, i just grabbed his hand and put it on my belly till there was a moment where he felt our baby kick... that's when he changed. Now I can't get him off of me :/
