What's the rule for drinking alcohol while breast feeding? I've heard a few different things....pump and dump...2 hours per beer...I just would like to know so I can choose if I feel comfortable have a beer or two.

I heard beer only affects your milk for as long as it's affecting you. it metabolizes with you. meaning if you still feel buzzed, don't feed the baby. but if you feel 100% sober then your milk is fine too. I always wait an hour or so if I have one beer, anyway.
how bad would it be if I drank a beer at 3 weeks and 5 days?
I've heard people say think drinking a beer a day can help breast milk production. Will either of these work? That's about the only beer I will drink. What beer would you suggest?

Yea one thing I heard was 2 hours per beer. I drink wine coolers anyway not actual beer. lol I just wanted a better opinion on it because I've never breast fed before
