It helps just talking to someone who has been through it and recently too haha, my contractions (at least I'm fairly positive that's what they are, otherwise it's some other torturous discomfort I'm feeling) are getting a bit stronger but still not regular, I have a few then they stop then they come back. @boots

I felt that panic too, when I got in my room I was like omg this is really happening!!!! But once you're at the hospital and in active labor your so occupied with what's happening you're too busy to worry about not being able to do it lmao trust me if I could do it anyone can! You'll do great :D and when you feel like you KNOW you're going to poop, you won't poop lmaoo I thought for sure 100% I was gonna poop and I didn't, and another thing if you start to uncontrollably shake when you are in active labor don't freak out it happened to me lmao the nurses said it was normal but it was freakin weeeeeird agh I'm so excited for you lmao I wanna have another baby :p

I have had lots of iv's lol, went through a whole week of IV therapy like 6 years ago because of mono and they do suck! And yes I've been checked a couple times, was 3cm on Thursday, I'm having contractions today and I'm super uncomfortable but the contractions aren't reoccurring! I'm just super nervous about everything, starting to freak out thinking I can't do it. @boots

I was. They called me to the hospital at 7am and I got settled into my own room, they put in the IV for the pitocin or whatever the stuff is called lmao and I don't know if you've ever had an IV but they suck!! Then a short while later my doctor broke my water and that reeeeally sucked! It didn't hurt but it was soooooo uncomfortable. Have you been checked to see if you've dilated at all? Because it's like that but times 10 lol super super uncomfortable. I was like pulling away from my doctor lmaoo try to relax but no it doesn't work :p and if you're planning on getting an epidural get it ASAP! Labor progresses fast when you're induced so by time I got my epidural things were moving so quick I could still feel contractions! I had the epidural but was still in enough pain for me to cry with each contraction and had to get two doses of their strongest pain medicine!
