does sleeping on your stomach hurt the baby? or does it just get uncomfortable as you get bigger? I'm 22 weeks and was plus size before I got pregnant. I was used to sleeping on my stomach and am trying to get out of the habit as I'm starting to get bigger but it's not quite uncomfortable but I don't want to hurt my daughter.

I know what you mean I still find myself sleeping on my stomach sometimes because it didn't bother me.... i asked my obgyn and went on webmd and baby center and they all said its not good for the baby. we should sleep on our sides preferably the left to increase blood flow to the baby. otherwise we are making the baby uncomfortable an can decrease blood/ oxygen to them. :/

I love sleeping on my stomach and when I asked my doctor if I should start training myself to sleep on my left side he said no just do what comes natural and comfortable. Until it's not comfortable anymore and you can't do it you will know and it will get harder to sleep but better to try and get some sleep while you can.

My doctor said to sleep now I'm comfortable as well.. It won't hurt the baby you'll just be uncomfortable . I mean they're protected by the placenta and our tummys what can hurt them you know.. It just makes them uncomfortable
