I felt the same exact way for like 26 weeks. I felt like he didn't care and I was doing this alone. But now, things are changing. He's happier when we talk about her and gets excited feeling her kicks and jabs and rolls. It took a while. You can give him a little time to try and come around or you can talk to him about how you feel. I did the latter because I broke down one day. It does hurt because I was extremely excited when I found out. I hope he comes around and realizes how exciting of a gift a baby is.
Fingers are crossed that my husband gets more interested!! I really want our daughter to have a good relationship with him! My dad wasn't around, and I just feel like it's so important! @saacheay
My fiance did the sameeeee thing, he didn't seem excited at all but now that baby is getting stronger when he touches my belly he gasp and asks if that was a kick so I know he is excited
My husband didn't seem too excited at first either. But then he secretly cried. Maybe he's in shock or extremely excited/nervous and everything in between.
