Ever since I found out there is a 1 in 41 chance for trisomy 18, I have found myself disconnected and not excited about this pregnancy anymore, I keep looking at the ultrasound pictures with open hands and normal shaped head hoping to feel something different but I cant until I know for sure

Maybe if you think it's only 2.5% percent - so try and stay positive as you can (maybe you're the other 97.5%). I can't imagine how hard it is so 💙hugs💙 and prayers 🙏🏼 for you.

@danamarie, thank you, people keep telling me I have about a 98% chance the baby is fine but it hasent helped and I hate feeling like this, it took us 17 cycles to get this and I just dont want to lose it

Like I said I can't imagine and I feel for you. Just try to be positive. From what I remember your pics looked good so keep thinking about that. I did read they had some other measurements they could do on certain bone length, nose , etc did they say anything about that or measure those yet?

@danamarie, nope not yet and the fact I have to wait 2 weeks for the level 2 ultrasound is making it worse, where I live is a small clinic and they cant do as much there (like the ultrasound techs are not qualified to do much) so I have an email to my doctor to see if there is any accurate test that my clinic can do before then, so we will see
