Anyone have luck pumping as nipple stimulation to induce labor? If so, how long, how often, and were you already dilated/effaced?
You shouldn't pump...your baby needs the first milk you produce it has something in it. Also inducing labor I would say is stupid! And wrong...but I'm 35 weeks and I'm understanding more and more the feeling of wanting to induce labor. The sitting around and waiting is a freaking nightmare.
I did that, all it did was give me painful contractions and nothing happened. if your baby's not ready nothing will work. but sex and walking does help, again, if your baby is ready. the sperm helps soften your cervix and walking will dilate you.

@catehughes when you pump while pregnant you only get a little bit of colostrum. You produce more until you have the baby and one you have the baby your body releases the hormones that produce your milk
