So I finally called my doctors office because I've been having cramps/contractions/Braxton hicks. Idk it's my first pregnancy to get this far. But they aren't stopping I've had them for about 3 days and they come every 15-20 minutes. They were only mildly uncomfortable at first but now there worse. they take my breath away and I can't move. Plus I have what I'm pretty sure is a yeast infection too [I've been eating my weight in yogurts lol]. My next appointment wasn't supposed to be until June 10th. When I called to schedule a sooner one for my issues the receptionist said she can't because I already have one scheduled and can't get a new appointment till after that one! I said I wanted to talk to my doctor personally and she said she would leave a message for her to call me.
.
Is that normal? I've never heard of having to wait

@bbyenolan22, you go to the l&d unit in the hospital & tell them what's going on. they'll hook you up to monitors.

Go to L&D and tell them what's wrong. That's what I did when I had cramping and less fetal movement.

Thanks ladies! I'm thinking if they don't call I'm definitely gonna go to L&D. If I go how exactly does that work? I'm sorry I've never been in labor and delivery before. Do I go to like an ER and they have to send me or do I have to just go straight to a labor and delivery unit and tell the receptionist what's going on? Our local ER doesn't do any labor and delivery so they send you by ambulance to a non hospital and if I could just go there on my own it'd probably be easier but I'm not sure how it works @parkers_mommy @momof1and1ontheway @cindylou

if you're concerned you can go to L&D they're monitor you. I had contractions at 23 weeks & didn't know it. I just went in because my stomach hurt & I wasn't feeling normal & im so glad I did.

I've been drinking water a lot but for some reason it seems to upset my tummy and water comes right back up :/ They said she would call by end off hours today which is in less than 2 hours so if I don't hear back or it gets any worse I'm definitely gonna go @momof1and1ontheway

I have a nurses line I can call for a consult and can get me in earlier if they deem it necessary.
