What is this phase or whatnot babies go thru where they constantly make stretching like noises (or pooping like) & move so much...while laying awake or asleep & when feeding too!

My son is laying down now and keeps yawning needs to sleep but keeps doing this whiz I think is distracting him from sleeping. I picked him up and cradled him in my arms around my chest and perhaps he wants that as I rocked him to sleep--just now--

@sgomez0606, yup! Gripe water worked for my son when he was constipated too. So yeah make sure u get some and give it to your daughter. It will help her poop & relieve the cramps & gas pain.
that makes so much sense ! my daughter is going on day 3 without pooping -___- my poor baby @dovejazz
@sgomez0606, so today I actually found out the reason they actually do that is cause they have cramps or gas pains 😖
@sgomez0606, I figured i wasn't the only one hehhe apparently they like to hear themselves as they discovered that is their own voice 😄
My daughter is almost 2 months and does it, the jerking is because they aren't in control of their nervous system yet. It supposed to stop around 3-4 months
@mamas_mia, ahhh u know that did actually cross my mind....but it's Sooo distracting he doesn't fall asleep cause of it 😏 and this just started 3days and he just turned 3weeks old today
My baby's the same way. I asked my Dr and she said they just like to hear themselves lol
as I'm reading your post my daughter is doing the same thing and I'm wondering why she's doing it lol
I need to get it asap tomorrow I was hoping that she would poop on her own bit its not happening @dovejazz
