Day 1 of this Gestational diabetes diet and sugar monitoring. 😒 Didn't eat Bf. Ate cereal for lunch, tested 2 hrs later: sugar was 110 👍 ate a half a sandwich right after testing. Was hungry! They want me to gain 2lbs a month! I gained 4 lbs this month, this is gonna be hard! Any mommas going through this it went through This?

I am diabetic and had to do this my entire pregnancy and is not easy but so worth it in the end when my baby girl was healthy. they wanted my fasting number 90 or below and 1 hr after meals no higher then 120. I was on insulin and took a long lasting twice a day and fast acting three times a day. don't be discouraged if you have high readings just write it down and let the dr know what you ate...near the end for me they had to increase my doses so much every week because of hormones that blocked the insulin from working as well as before lol. just eat right and communicate with your dr and good luck.
@mrsvelasquez today at my check up concerning gd she told me anything over 95 for fasting is consider high. I had a lot of numbers over 95 so they put me on medicine.

Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.

I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
