so I ordered something online and I got the order confirmation and tracking number from usps.com the website I ordered from said It was shipped 5 days ago not including sunday. and the status still says preshipment and I talked to the website owner and she told me that they confirmed it left the store they brought the packages to and the usps is investigating the missing package. I ordered $160 worth of stuff what is going on?!

That is really frustrating I'm sorry :( I used to work in a customer service department and we had to deal with shipping problems all the time and missing packages. What I remember is preshipment usually meant it had left the post office and has a drop off scheduled in the immediate future, it just isn't that day. of course unfortunately it might just be missing but I'll cross my fingers that it's on its way!
