so I just had my appointment to talk about getting my nexplanon removed. I go back next Wednesday to get it removed, and I have to start taking my new birth control pills today. (have to take them for 7 days before I get it taken out). NOW I DONT KNOW WHETHER I WANT IT OUT OR NOT. I'm so conflicted. my doctor made it out like nexplanon is the greatest thing in the world and my issues that I thought I was having from it aren't from it at all. she made me feel bad about wanting to get on the pill, like I was stupid for wanting it out.😢 she was like seriously advising me to not get it removed but said I was "the boss" so it's up to me. ughhhhxndjjcjsnxndks

do what you think is best for you. i had the iud(mirena) and i had it taken out after a few months. as bad as me and my doctor both wanted it too work out it just didnt and i am now on the pill. and even though it does suck sometimes it is still whats best for me. so just do whats best for you. if you dont like it or want it get it taken out. its your body not your doctors. and your doctor shouldnt try to talk you out of it.

I loved the nexplanon. I had it for about a year then I got it removed and started the pill and I was pregnant not even a month later. after I have my baby im definitely going to get the nexplanon again.

I have the same birth control you're on & I personally love it. The only issue I had with it was when I first got it I bled for a month straight but since then no problems. But don't let your doctor make you feel any way about wanting it removed. Some types of birth control are not for everyone & effect everyone differently. Do what's best for you.

I had an IUD and hated it. it caused all kinds of problems but they say it doesn't do that. don't let them make you feel bad. its what's best for you!

well with the one youre on now theres no chance you can accidently become pregnant where on the pill if you even miss one day then theres a chance :\ maybe your doctor just wanted to give you the reassurance you wont accidentally become pregnant?
