I thought breastfed babies didn't have to be burped when drinking from the boob?!😩😂

mine doesn't burp very often

I asked the doctor and they said you don't have to but you can because sometimes the get air when they're trying to suck or fussing.

@ginag918 they say most nursed babies don't really have to burp but I always did between breasts or after a feeding just to make sure they didn't have any extra air in their tummies that would cause discomfort.

Yea I'm noticing that when I don't burp her sometimes she spits up a lityle

I always have to burp my baby. even on the Boob. I've never heard that you don't need to! lol but my baby is so gassy.... she'd burp every like 10 min when on the Boob cuz she'd get so much air

Its difficult to burp babies that are breastfed.

@mdomke22, doctor said I could feed my baby 5-10 and then burp him cuz he is also gassy. If I dont then he cries and stays awake during night time

Yeah I didn't burp my Boobie breast fed babe until i realized it was coming out too fast so he was drinking more then he thought he could handle and would puke cause he wasn't burped so I try for at least five minutes after he's done

Ok @Meganc that's what I think has happened a few times the past week I think she's getting a lot more milk now so she over eats and pukes I have to start burping more I'm so lazy we lay in bed and I sleep while she eats and goes back o sleep lol

Omg @gonag918 that's what I was doing I was laying him on his side and me on my side and nursing him that way and falling asleep lol then one day I woke up and he was choking on puke so I stopped that and now I pump and bottle freed cause I was too lazy and tired lol

Lol @meganc that's so me I'm gonna take a day this weekend to focus on pumping I have to go back to work in July so I need to start stocking up
